I really enjoyed meeting the Boys' Brigade and their leaders last night. Seeing the Mountsorrel bucket at close quarters was a surprise treat ! They do fabulous work. (I have permission to use the image )

I'm in awe of the way the village has responded to 'Turn Mountsorrel Pink & Blue'. When I met with Rebecca, the Cancer Research UK rep,back in December last year. She told me about other villages that had supported the campaign. My first thought was Mountsorrel can do that and you have.Shops, care homes.sports groups, businesses, individuals (who is the secret bollard cover knitter) have all got on board THANK YOU - and it's not too late to join the party as the campaign runs to the 16th September with shop window judging on the 11th.
