🚑 It's been one of THOSE weekends at Local Medics & Ambulance Service — and we wouldn't have it any other way!

While most people were enjoying the sunshine, our incredible team were out across the country doing what they do best. This weekend saw us covering BMX and running events, cricket, football, and equestrian — a real mix that shows just how versatile and experienced our crew truly is.

On top of that, we were proud to be out supporting two fellow event medical companies, including providing crew for a Paramedic Cycle Response Unit.

Collaboration within our sector is something we genuinely value, and it's always a privilege to work alongside other professionals who share our commitment to keeping people safe. 💚 Thanks to Cotswold First Aid for having us as well.

But it's not just the weekends that are keeping us on our toes! Back in the office, the team has been just as busy. We're currently working through a full review and rewrite of our company policies — making sure everything we do reflects best practice, meets regulatory standards, and gives our staff the clearest possible guidance.

It's the kind of work that doesn't always make the headlines, but it's absolutely vital to running a professional service.

👥 We're also deep into HR and recruitment activity right now. With demand for our services continuing to grow, we're focused on building the right team to meet it — and that means not just finding great clinicians, but making sure every new member of the Local Medics team is properly onboarded, supported, and set up to thrive.

💚 What a weekend! We are absolutely buzzing here at Local Medics & Ambulance Service after an unbelievable few days!

Our brilliant team was out keeping people safe at not one, not two — but FOURTEEN events across the last few days! 🙌

🏏 Cricket match (supporting our fantastic industry partners)
🐴 A large equestrian event alongside SES MedEvent

To every member of our team who gave up their weekend to be there — whether you were a First Responder, Ambulance Technician, or Paramedic — THANK YOU. You are the heart and soul of Local Medics, and week like this show exactly why we do what we do. We are so proud of each and every one of you. 💚

💚 It's been a busy and brilliant few weeks for us here at Local Medics & Ambulance Service!

We've had the privilege of supporting some fantastic local events recently, and seeing our brand new Medical Team gazebo in action has been really exciting. It's hard to miss — and that's exactly the point! When people need us, we want to be easy to find. 🏕️

Our team of First Responders, Ambulance Technicians, and Paramedics have been working hard both behind the scenes and on the front line, to make sure event-goers are in safe hands.

We are so proud of every single person who wears the Local Medics badge — your dedication doesn't go unnoticed. 🙌

We can't believe that we have to write this
But we will not tolerate violence or aggression towards our teams!

When our staff are on an event the last thing they expect is to be punched or assaulted by a patient - we will stand with them and will support them with any action they wish to take.

Here starts the Weekend!

A Paramedic Led team in place for day one of a three-day music festival in the West Midlands.

We've also packed the Vehicles and prepared the teams for multiple events this weekend including supporting another company with two of their events, Play-Off Finals in the football, Equestrian Events at two different locations, biking events and a family fun day! Not to mention a team on a marathon to end the weekend

!!𝟏𝟓𝟏!!

April Round-Up 🚑💙

April has been one of those months where you barely get a moment to catch your breath — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Across the month, our team covered an incredible 151 shifts, supporting a huge variety of events and environments. From the roar of the crowd at football and rugby, to the fast-paced action of BMX tracks, and even the unique challenges of working on film sets, no two days have been the same.

We’ve been out in all conditions supporting marathons and running events, keeping a watchful eye at cricket and equestrian meets, and working behind the scenes during build and break phases where safety is just as crucial.
Alongside all of that, there’s been plenty of admin work keeping everything organised, planned, and running smoothly for what’s ahead.

It’s easy to focus on the numbers, but what really stands out is the commitment behind them. Every shift represents a team of medical staff showing up prepared, professional, and ready to help whenever needed.
Long days, early starts, late finishes — it’s all part of what makes this team so reliable.

A huge thank you to every single member of our team for the hard work, flexibility, and dedication you’ve shown throughout April. You make it look effortless, even when it’s anything but.

Here’s to another busy and successful month ahead — bring on May! 💥

🍻🥋💃 Beers, Biffs, Boogie, Builds & PBs 🏃‍♂️💪

What a weekend it’s been for LMAS!

In just a couple of days we’ve covered beer festivals, karate competitions, a dance event, site builds and breaks, and a large‑scale marathon deployment — all thanks to an incredible team who just get on and get it done.

We clocked up over 40 shifts, helped wrap up successful seasons for the two football clubs we proudly support, and even took part in some charity fundraising events… in the dark 🌙👏

It’s weekends like this that really show what LMAS is about — people looking out for each other, mucking in when it’s needed, working hard, and still having a laugh along the way.

A huge thank you to every single person who gave their time, energy, and commitment. We couldn’t do it without you — and we’re seriously proud of you all 💙
