What a phone call to receive on a Tuesday morning! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are incredibly proud to announce that Local Medics & Ambulance Service Ltd has been notified that our CQC registration has been approved for:

โœ… Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI)
โœ… Transport Services

This is a significant milestone for LMAS and the result of an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. It reflects our continued investment in clinical governance, patient safety, robust operating systems and the high standards we expect across every event we support.

Our registration strengthens the service we can offer clients, including the ability to provide appropriately equipped ambulances for patient transport to hospital when required. It also places LMAS in a strong position ahead of the forthcoming regulatory changes affecting event healthcare.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported LMAS throughout this processโ€”particularly the whole management team & clinical leadership who've spent a lot of hours behind the scene writing documents and strengthening processes as well as our frontline staff, who've been out on events whilst we've been in the offices.

This achievement belongs to the whole team.

If you are looking for a CQC-registered event healthcare and ambulance provider that places quality, governance and patient care at the heart of its service, we would be delighted to speak with you.

As a busy week came to an end last night, our team were back out early this morning for a Country Fair in Wales.

We've had Specialist Paramedic led teams supporting large event over the last week, whilst despite the weather went on to be a really good time.

Alongside this, we've had our regular teams covering running events and Friday Night Football in the Midlands & Hampshire.

We also had the chance to get our Full Resus Level bay out and operational. Containing Ventilators, Monitor with Pacing, Fluid Warmer, Syringe Pumps & full Drugs.

We don't just supply First Aid, we can supply full Doctor, Specialist Paramedic or A&E Nurse Led Teams if needed.

If you want medical cover for your event, or to discuss how we could bolt onto your current team, drop us an email to [email protected].

A busy weekend again for the team. From Southampton to York, with multiple events across the West and East Midlands as well, we've had 14 different teams out!

From 3 running events to the first Home Games of the two National League clubs we support, we've also had staff supporting our friends at SES MedEvent at an Equestrian event.

Yet again the team have worked really hard both on the visible side of the company and behind the scenes with staff coming in to support us on make ready and kitting vehicles and venues.

Summer maybe coming towards a close and the thought of adding fleeces & coats back to the vehicles but we're already planning well into the winter.

If you need assistance with an event why not drop us an email - [email protected]

Some events are big and loud, whereas others are a bit more serene and peaceful. This week we had both.

From Responders covering a night in North London, to Paramedic teams out at Sporting events across the Midlands and South, and film set support in the North, we've had over 60 shifts covered this week.

As a company we're exceptionally proud of the way we've grown and developed from a small company with a few events here and there, to having regular events and staff out every weekend.

Big stages. Local communities. Everything in between. This is what Local Medics & Ambulance Service looks like right now.

We'll be honest, it's been busier than ever here at LMAS. We've had the biggest weekend in our history too and when we get that busy putting together a Post isn't top of our priority list!

In the last 3-weeks our team has collectively covered over 225 shifts across a huge range of events and operations. One of the biggest of these was being part of a team the covered a 15-day religious festival in London, where we had staff providing round-the-clock cover for the duration. Days and nights. Start to finish. The kind of sustained, high-intensity deployment that requires not just clinical skill, but real resilience, teamwork, and operational discipline from everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of every single person who played a part in that.

At the bigger end of the scale, we've had staff embedded within a world-class music festival, working alongside our industry partners to deliver seamless, professional medical cover for thousands of attendees. These aren't small operations โ€” they require detailed pre-event planning, close coordination with event management teams, and the kind of clinical experience and composure that our team consistently delivers under pressure. As well as Large Scale Triathlons & Half Marathons bigger events have seen us deploy we've also had dedicated controllers, managing our crews through our own internal dispatch system which gives real-time oversight, rapid resource allocation, and a command structure that mirrors the very best in pre-hospital care. Not only that but working in Multi-Agency Control rooms with other teams from the event goes to show how important being able to integrate into these rooms is within the medical field.

Across all of our deployments, we've been proud to field a number of Paramedic-led teams which ensures that wherever our crews are, the clinical governance and decision-making is at the highest possible standard.

And it hasn't just been the headline events. Week in, week out, our teams have been out at our regular BMX events, equestrian shows, cricket matches supporting fellow industry partners, family fun days, carnivals, football fan zones, youth football tournaments, a film set, and a karate competition. Because whether it's 200 people or 20,000, every event gets the same professionalism and the same standard of care. That's our promise.

Thank you to our brilliant team, our trusted clients, and our valued industry partners โ€” none of this happens without you.

And we still have some spaces in the diary for the summer, if you need medical cover, even at short notice, drop us a line on

๐Ÿš‘ It's been one of THOSE weekends at Local Medics & Ambulance Service โ€” and we wouldn't have it any other way!

While most people were enjoying the sunshine, our incredible team were out across the country doing what they do best. This weekend saw us covering BMX and running events, cricket, football, and equestrian โ€” a real mix that shows just how versatile and experienced our crew truly is.

On top of that, we were proud to be out supporting two fellow event medical companies, including providing crew for a Paramedic Cycle Response Unit.

Collaboration within our sector is something we genuinely value, and it's always a privilege to work alongside other professionals who share our commitment to keeping people safe. ๐Ÿ’š Thanks to Cotswold First Aid for having us as well.

But it's not just the weekends that are keeping us on our toes! Back in the office, the team has been just as busy. We're currently working through a full review and rewrite of our company policies โ€” making sure everything we do reflects best practice, meets regulatory standards, and gives our staff the clearest possible guidance.

It's the kind of work that doesn't always make the headlines, but it's absolutely vital to running a professional service.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ We're also deep into HR and recruitment activity right now. With demand for our services continuing to grow, we're focused on building the right team to meet it โ€” and that means not just finding great clinicians, but making sure every new member of the Local Medics team is properly onboarded, supported, and set up to thrive.
