🚦 Proposed Change to Speed Limit on H7 Chaffron Way 🚦

Attention, Tattenhoe Ward residents! The City Council is considering a new speed limit of 40mph on H7 Chaffron Way, specifically between V2 Tattenhoe Street and V3 Fulmer Street.

With the upcoming Kingsmead green and waste tip on V1 , this change could have a significant impact on traffic flow on H6 and H8. We’ve been advocating for much lower limits at the entrance of Tattenhoe Park on the same road, yet those requests have gone ignored. My thoughts are on reducing the limit around V1 as well to deter traffic from A421 into our estates .

🌟 Know Your Councillor: Manish Verma 🌟

Residents of Tattenhoe Ward are already benefitting from dedication and expertise of their local councillor, Manish Verma.

Having established roots in Milton Keynes 26 years ago, Manish and his wife chose Tattenhoe as their home, where they raised their family. With his children attending Giles Brook School, his connection to the community has deepened, giving him valuable insight into local priorities and needs.

Beyond his public service, Manish works at Santander Bank, where he brings significant leadership experience and professional insight to his role. He is also a governor at MK College and a former governor of Giles Brook School, actively supporting and enhancing further education across Milton Keynes.

As both a Ward Councillor and Parish Councillor, Manish addresses local issues and represents residents’ concerns. His involvement spans various committees in Milton Keynes, and he currently chairs the Policy & Finance Committee within the Parish Council.

Together with Cllr Shazna Muzammil and Krish Pillai, Team has made considerable progress in tackling key issues for our ward,and continue to focus on underneath:

• Fixing Roads and Potholes: Ensuring repairs are done properly, including those near streetlights.

• Maintaining Clean Estates: Actively combating litter and fly-tipping.

• Protecting Green Spaces: Safeguarding areas like Kingsmead Green.

• Advocating for Residents: Standing firm against planning decisions that negatively impact our community, including the proposed HWRC in Tattenhoe Park.

• Expediting Estate Adoption: Ensuring residents receive the services they pay for and deserve.

• Amplifying Your Voice: Committed to genuinely hearing and representing your concerns.

Manish’s passion for community work shines brightly throughout Tattenhoe. He remains dedicated to supporting residents, helping them navigate local services, resolve issues, and stay connected, all while ensuring Tattenhoe continues to thrive as a wonderful place to live.
