Last Storytime and Play session

This coming Tuesday (9th June) will be the last of our Storytime and Play sessions for the moment as Millie is moving to pastures new.

Hopefully it will restart in the future.

Please do come along for a final play (there might be cake too).

This week is National Volunteers week and we would like to shout out and say Thank You to all the amazing volunteers who support our library.

From the trustees, who without there wouldn't be a library in Milborne Port; to our in library volunteers who help keep new titles on the shelves, and run children's activities; the Home Delivery volunteers who take books to those in our community who cannot get to us; and pur wonderful Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteer who brings enthusiasm and energy to our Saturdays.

Here is today’s story chosen for Milborne Port Library’s Storytime. Meg and Ash are a pair of magpies who are building a nest for their perfect eggs. Although they begin their nest construction using the usual mud, sticks and grass, Meg and Ash are soon convinced that their nest doesn’t have enough stuff and begin to collect more things to add to an ever-growing pile.
