The Youth Parish Council in Marston Moretaine is looking for new members! 🙌

The Youth council took part in the Christmas tree display at St Marys Marston Church. Thank you for organising it! We had lots of fun decorating the tree. 🌳🌳

Hello members of Marston Moreteyne!! 🤚

Today we are asking for your input and your voice.
If you have a concern ( youth related ) please speak to us in the comments, we will help / speak about the items if we can.
As a team we are already working really hard to keep the future generations of Marston Village safe and happy, while getting some cool, fun activities too!! ⚽️🛝🎲📚
The Youth Council also currently has a few vacancy's too!

🌞 School’s (almost) out… and so are we! 🌞

After a super busy few months, the Marston Moreteyne Youth Council is taking a well-deserved summer break! 😎✌️

In line with the parish council’s calendar, that means no meetings or projects over the holidays – we’re hitting pause and recharging ready for September. 💤🔋

Huge thanks to everyone who’s supported us so far – we’ve got loads of exciting ideas brewing and can’t wait to get stuck in again after summer! 💥

Have an amazing break everyone – enjoy the sunshine, chill with your friends, and we’ll see you in September! 💛

🎉 Catch Us at the School Summer Fayre – TODAY! ☀️🎪

The Marston Moreteyne Youth Council is out in full force today at the school summer fayre – and we’ve got our very own stall! 🧃🎈 No fancy gazebo, just a humble table, some paper, and a whole lot of passion. 💪📄

🗣️ Got something to say about life in our village? Want to see change? Or just want to chat? Come and find us!

👀 Look out for our Chairman, Lewis – dressed in all black with his Youth Council ID, a pen, and notebook in hand. Might look serious, but trust – he's proper friendly and here to listen. 🖤📝

📍Come say hi at our stall! Whether it's a big idea or a small suggestion, it all matters to us.

🫱 We'll also be joined by CBC Ward Councillor Saverio Bongo at some point – a big supporter of young voices and always up for a real conversation.

Big shoutout to everyone who popped by today! 👋
It was amazing meeting you all – even if it was just a quick “hi” before you dashed off to COOP to battle the middle aisle chaos 🛒😂

Our Chairman Lewis was on the scene, introducing himself, the Youth Council, and dropping the mic with his other role on the Neighbourhood Watch Youth Council. Basically, he’s everywhere – blink and you’ll probably see him at your next local event, council meeting, or helping your nan cross the road 🚦👮‍♂️ All while he has his football and education on! Too much for us 😳

Thanks for the chats, the smiles, and pretending not to run away when you saw the words “Youth Council” 😄
We’ll be back soon (with some improvements) – you’ve been warned. 💬

🚨 WE’RE TAKING OVER THE CO-OP! 🚨

This Wednesday from 11am (yes, that's today if you're reading this late 👀), come find us outside the Marston CO-OP for good vibes, info, and a cheeky chat.

💥 Lewis will be there running the stall – yep, that guy you’ve seen absolutely everywhere on Facebook. Loves a selfie, loves a cause, probably already posted about this five times. 📸😅

📝 We’ve got:

Free flyers (who doesn’t love free stuff?)

Quick & easy surveys (takes 2 mins, promise)

Loads of info about your Youth Council + Neighbourhood Watch Youth Council

And answers to literally any question you can throw at us (okay maybe not algebra... but we’ll try)

So grab a snack, swing by, and let’s chat about how we can make the village even better. Or just come say hi and roast Lewis' selfie game. We’re cool with that too.

🎉 COME SAY HELLO THIS WEDNESDAY! 👋

This Wednesday 2nd July, your Marston Moreteyne Youth Council is popping up at the BIG CO-OP (yes, that one) from 11am onwards – and we want you to come down!

We’ll have an information & engagement stall, which basically means:

You can find out what we actually do (spoiler: it’s more than just meetings and biscuits),

Learn how we’re working to improve the village,

And ask us ANY questions — whether it's about local issues, ideas you’ve got, or even what we had for breakfast (we’ll answer... maybe).

🧠 Got a genius idea for the village?
❓ Just nosy and want to say hi?

Whatever the reason, swing by, have a chat, and meet the legends who are repping the voice of young people in Marston.
