Thank you to the members of Nether Langwith Parish Council for electing me as Chair of the Parish Council. I’m starting this year with a lot of work to be focussing on. Top priorities are sustainable funding for the village hall and village green, more community engagement/events, and ensuring our area is looked after.

The broken manhole cover on Queens Walk was reported to Severn Trent Water on 16th April. The day after, it was marked with blue spray paint. I have asked for an update, and they say they that it will be done as soon as they can - depending on parts orders.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Cllr Mel Middleton, who has stepped down as Chair of Nether Langwith Parish Council. Mel has been a Councillor for over 40 years on Nether Langwith Parish Council, and is remaining an important voice on the council. We thank him for working on numerous projects, including on the village green and for the village hall.
