At Bury Care Academy, we're on a mission to connect people with meaningful work in home care, and right now, drivers are exactly what local providers across Bury need. If you hold a driving licence, you already have one of the most sought-after qualities in the sector.

Home care routes are short and local, the hours are flexible, and no previous experience or qualifications are required to get started. This Wednesday, our team will be at the Ingeus Hub in the Mill Gate Shopping Centre, Bury, for a free drop-in-careers session.

Whether you're a delivery driver, HGV driver, or simply someone who's ready for work that feels more rewarding, come and have a conversation with us.

We've just found out that we have placed our 100th candidate, and we couldn't be prouder! 💯

Meet Blessing, now a Care Assistant at Alexander Care Home, and our 100th candidate placed through Bury Care Academy.

Blessing said, 'I found the experience really good, friendly staff, and very helpful. I am happy to find a job at Alexander Care Home. I cannot wait to start my career in care. Thank you all!'

Bury Care Academy has now supported 100 people into careers in care since our doors opened last year. Every single one of them matters to a workforce so often left to fend for itself. We're so proud of every single person we've seen through this process, and we can't wait to see where the journey takes us next. 💙

Whether you are looking for your first role in care or your next step into leadership, there is something here for you.

Roles available with:
Hamilton Rest Home, Bank House Care Home, Alexandra Care Home, Clarity Homecare, KV Care LTD, Persona Care and Support, and Killelea (Choices for Living Well).

Full-time, part-time and flexible contracts available
Salaries from £13.41 to £15.00 per hour, plus salaried roles
Opportunities across residential, supported living, reablement and community care

Many roles offer training, development and progression from day one, with several open to those new to care.
