🌱 A huge thank you to the team from Manchester Airport who spent the day volunteering at Webb Lane Community Allotments in Stockport.

Working alongside the allotment community, they helped build new raised bed planters that will benefit Webb Lane and the many local groups who grow, learn and connect there.

The day was organised through SKylight's partnership with Webb Lane and links with the Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund. A fantastic day, made even better by the sunshine! ☀️

Community groups can apply for up to £2,000 to support projects that bring people together and make a positive difference in Stockport neighbourhoods.

📅 Applications close Wednesday 30th September 2026 (or sooner if funding is fully allocated).

Yesterday was the final day of our Skills for Life+ Barista Training course.

Over the past few weeks, participants have been building practical skills, gaining confidence, and preparing for their next steps into employment, with support from our Employment Team every step of the way.

And of course, there’s been one very important perk... plenty of opportunities to sample different coffees along the way! ☕
