🤍 A little note about Project 33 nominations
Since the recent media coverage, we’ve received an incredible number of nominations, and we are so grateful for every single one.
One thing we’d like to clarify is what Project 33 is designed for.
We would love to help every kind person, every hard-working family and everyone who deserves something nice. If we could, we’d be transforming homes every weekend.
Unfortunately, that’s not the reality.
Project 33 exists to support people facing significant challenges, hardship or vulnerability, where a home transformation could genuinely change their quality of life and wellbeing.
There is no exact checklist. Every situation is different.
It could be someone struggling with their mental health, a family living with disability, a parent raising children alone, someone dealing with illness, bereavement, trauma, caring responsibilities, financial hardship, or any number of circumstances that place significant pressure on daily life.
These are simply examples. We understand that hardship looks different for everyone, and no two stories are ever the same.
When reviewing nominations, we look at the overall situation, the challenges being faced, and whether Project 33 could make a meaningful difference to that person or family’s life.
We’re looking for people who genuinely need a break, need some hope, and could benefit most from the support of this incredible community.
Thank you for continuing to nominate, support, share and believe in what we’re building together.
