Malvern people: apply for community grants!

We are now live!! 🙌✨

Are you a charity or community group embarking on a project in early 2026? Well, the Malvern Town Council grant scheme is now live and might be able to help cover some costs.

We offer small grants up to £500 and large grants up to £2500 which cover one-off projects, pieces of equipment, etc. (Our grant can't be used to cover running costs!)

Following the Government's announcement on the 10th May that people can now travel anywhere in England to exercise, we have taken the decision to reopen our car parks.

We have not taken this decision lightly and have carefully considered the impact that this will have on the local community.

As we saw prior to the closure of the car parks in March, a large number of people travelled to walk and cycle on the Malvern Hills and Commons and we are expecting to see similar following this announcement.

Failure to reopen the car parks would result in vehicles being parked on verges, open commons and side roads near to residential properties. This would put our local residents at higher risk and also damage our local green spaces.

We would urge people not to rush to visit the Malvern Hills but stay local where possible and think about the safety of the local community before visiting.
