Nothing could be clearer. Look at the attacks the whole establishment has levelled against us, they are terrified.

We will root out the rot and we will bring this country back from the brink.

The bodycam footage of Henry Nowak's arrest was incredibly difficult to watch. It made me sad and it made me angry.

Hearing that poor young man pleading with the officers that he had been stabbed while they say "Don't think you have mate" and cuff him, was one of the most unbelievable things I have ever witnessed.

How on earth did the police put the accusation of racism over the life of this young man?

I always try to give the police the benefit of the doubt, as I know they do one of the toughest jobs out there. There can be no excuse with this.

The officers that callously handcuffed a dying man, reading him his rights as he took his last breaths, must, at the very least, never wear the uniform again, if not face charges themselves.

The members of the killers family that assisted in this crime must face punishment too.

This can never be allowed to happen again.

So let's talk about the recital of the Lord's Prayer at full council.

I'm not super religious myself, but it is a tradition that long precedes my time at the council and I have a deep respect for the traditions of this country. It happens at councils all over the country, it is optional, no one is forcing the opposition to say a prayer.

As I pointed out here, the same people that have an issue with it are the same people that would go to another country and be posting on their socials about how cultured other countries are for praying at their meetings.

It is performative outrage, nothing new from the left.
