Archie is no stranger to rugby, having played since he was little at Pontrhydyfen. We faced him not too long ago, and he was an absolute superstar on the pitch!

With plenty of talent, enthusiasm, and a big smile, we’re excited to see him continue his rugby journey with us and can’t wait to watch him develop.

A huge thank you to Adam for everything you’ve done as a coach.

Without you, there probably wouldn’t even be an Under 8s team. You stepped up right at the very beginning when nobody else wanted to take on the thankless task of coaching the then Under 6s, and we’ve all benefited from that decision ever since.

You’ve helped shape the players who have been with us from day one into the team they are now, while also welcoming and developing every child who has joined us along the way. Your dedication, commitment and support have never gone unnoticed and are hugely appreciated by players, parents and fellow coaches alike.

I know Dan will miss your on-field bromance, and the kids will definitely miss your laid-back approach and encouragement. But I know you’ll still be there supporting and cheering them on from the sidelines.

Now it’s time to enjoy watching Oakley thrive and make some great memories together. Thank you for everything, Adam – you’ve made a lasting impact on this team and all the players lucky enough to have been coached by you. 🏉🖤💛

🏉 Maesteg RFC U8s – A Special Farewell 🏉

Today, Maesteg RFC said their final goodbye to the U8s age group at their presentation day, marking the end of a fantastic chapter for this brilliant group of young players.

The team looked incredibly smart in their new Osprey T-shirts, wearing them with pride as they celebrated a season full of growth, teamwork, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

A huge congratulations to all the boys on everything they have achieved this season.
The future of Maesteg RFC is looking very bright!

Jac is powered by pizza, hot dogs and burgers — all drowned in lashings of saws coch 😋. And when it comes to pudding? Sour sweets all the way… unless there’s ice cream! 🍦😜

🏉 Favourite Thing About Playing for 7777:
Jac loves playing bulldogs, grabbing those tags, and having a blast playing rugby with his friends! 💪🔥
Let’s just hope he’s not as accident-prone as his coach (aka Dad!) 😂🤕

⚽ Fun Fact:
Jac is a HUGE Ronaldo fan 🤩. This boy knows everything there is to know about CR7 — stats, stories, goals, you name it! His memory is thankfully sharper than his dad’s 🧠😂
