Stalybridge gears up for Bridge Fest 2026 as planning begins

Planning is now underway for the return of Bridge Fest, with the next festival set to take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Following the continued success of previous events, volunteers from the Stalybridge Town Team have already begun meeting to shape plans for next year’s celebration.
Early discussions are focusing on securing performers, confirming venues, coordinating logistics and building on the strong community response seen in recent years.
Bridge Fest has established itself as a key date in Stalybridge’s annual events calendar, attracting thousands of residents and visitors into the town centre for a full day of live music, entertainment and community activity.
The festival traditionally features performances across multiple venues, including outdoor spaces such as Armentieres Square, as well as local hospitality settings.
The event provides a significant boost to the town’s cultural offer and supports local businesses, while creating opportunities for musicians, artists and community groups to showcase their work.
Organisers are keen to engage with partner agencies, local organisations and businesses early in the planning process to ensure the 2026 event continues to grow in scale and impact.
Further details regarding programming, partnership opportunities and volunteer involvement will be shared in due course.
For partnership enquiries or expressions of interest, please contact the Stalybridge Town Team on [email protected]

A Stalybridge landmark better known for traders and shoppers will soon be hosting a different kind of exchange - ideas on how to build a greener Tameside.

The Civic Hall in Armentieres Square will be the venue for a Climate Action Conference where local businesses, community groups and environmental organisations are invited to gather to share practical ways to cut their environmental impact and save costs.
