Getting creative with the use of terms such as 'sustainable' and 'biodegradable' within marketing communicates a deceptive message and dilutes the messages of those genuinely working sustainably, especially when businesses have no tangible commitments to protecting the environment. We must demand meaningful and honest environmental engagement from businesses to prevent the rising issue of . This comes from transparency and a proactive & progressive approach to sustainable innovation.

The City of London is an enormous contributor to the carbon economy - it supports 15% of global . Our leaders are guiding us off a cliff, so are inviting people to come to the table and publicly talk about the problem. The Rubbish Project stands with and their mission to be heard. We believe that real change is possible if we work together to create long-lasting green solutions.
