The Fairer Fostering Partnership

The Fairer Fostering Partnership Each of our member agencies has its own unique and distinctive approach to fostering.

The Fairer Fostering Partnership is a group of charitable and not-for-profit fostering agencies across the UK whose members look after over 2,000 children in care. cies. All of us offer a variety of able, experienced and trained carers plus a wraparound service package tailored to the needs of each individual child or young person. In the charitable and not-for-profit sector, all our resources remain within each provider to ensure a total focus on the needs of children and young people. This transparency and accountability is welcome in the current climate where local authorities need to know they are getting full value for their budget. Fairer Fostering also has a lobbying function that aims to advocate for children in respect of regulation, as well as representing its membership at central government level.

Fostering through Social Enterprise (FtSE) was established in 2007; and in 2017, we changed our name to The Fairer Fostering Partnership.

Let's meet Shelley..

Hello, I’m Shelley and I’ve just recently joined EPIC Fostering – I decided to join because EPIC have not seen my age as a negative and I immediately felt valued as a Foster Parent, an area that others failed in! I LOVE being a “Nanny figure” that children can relate to! I like to read, watch quiz shows and do crossword puzzles in my spare time.
