As part of SPINE Festival 2026, we’re delighted to invite you to a live and interactive Poetry and Animation Workshop on the theme of ‘Magic & Imagination’.

Led by Children's Poet, Shagufta K Iqbal, and Illustrator/ Animator, Nancy Ellis, your children will experience the magic of the spoken word and enjoy making a very special animation as part of this exciting group experience!

Completely FREE to attend, and perfect for ages 7 - 11

Come to Sutton Central Library this half-term and join a trio of leading performance poets - BREIS, Paul Lyalls, and Marika Mckennell - for a fun-filled, interactive poetry show bursting with rhythm, movement, and imagination. This lively performance invites audiences to get on their feet – dancing, singing, and joining in as words come alive. Perfect for children aged 3 - 11!

The event is free to attend, so come on down and get involved with this amazing cultural event!
