The Friends of Whitehall Recreation Ground exist to:
Encourage the informal enjoyment of the park’s facilities. Promote the conservation, protection and improvement of Whitehall Rec. Promote the conservation of the natural flora and fauna of the park. Through fundraising, provide amenities which would not normally be the responsibility of the London Borough of Bromley. We work in collaboration with various groups in the community to promote these objectives and also to support other like minded bodies. We work particularly closely with the Chatterton Village Association, London Borough of Bromley’s parks department, Raglan Primary School and the local neighbourhood community Police. We run a series of different events which raises much needed funds for many projects along with bringing the community together.
