London PE celebrated Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 with the launch of Chef Rex De Guzman’s Kamayan: The Filipino Cookbook on 25 August 2026 through Kamayan: Wikang Filipino, Wikang Pinagsasaluhan sa Hapag-Kainan.

The event celebrated how food, language, and shared memories keep Filipinos connected to their culture and identity.

On 26 August 2026, Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. visited Filipino communities in Fairford and Swindon as part of the Philippine Embassy’s continuing efforts to engage with Filipinos across the United Kingdom and better understand their needs and concerns.

The Embassy remains committed to strengthening its partnership with Filipino communities and bringing its services closer to our kababayans across the UK.

The Philippine Embassy in London invites members of the Filipino community to participate in the webinar, "Latest Updates on SSS Programs, Benefits, and Services for Overseas Filipinos," to be conducted by the SSS Europe Region Offices (London, Milan, and Rome) on 30 August 2026 (Sunday).

The webinar will provide updates on SSS programs and services and serve as an opportunity for participants to engage directly with SSS representatives.

The Philippine Embassy in London wishes Legit Status Varsity success as the Filipino street dance group represents the Philippines at the 2026 UDO World Street Dance Championships, taking place from 12 to 16 August 2026 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, United Kingdom.

Competing in the Under 18 Team Division, Legit Status Varsity earned its place at the world championships following its outstanding performance at the UDO Philippines Street Dance Championship in Quezon City in November 2025.
