We've listened to local concerns from residents and businesses in the West End and across Westminster about Labour's poorly designed cycle schemes.

In our first 100 Days, we have acted.

✋ Halted and redesigned cycle schemes in Bayswater, Marylebone and St John's Wood
🔎 Put existing cycle lanes under review over congestion and safety concerns
❌ Scrapped 'floating' bus stops from every new scheme

In May, we promised Safe Streets, A Clean City, and A City That Works for All.

In our first 100 Days, that is exactly what we are delivering in the West End and across Westminster.

Enforcement is being taken seriously again, street cleaning has been stepped up, and we're restoring value for money after years of Labour waste and mismanagement.

Years of Labour's managed decline is over.

This is real Conservative delivery in action. And there is more to do.

Congratulations to every A-Level student in the West End and across Westminster collecting results today! Whatever this ...

Conservative-led Westminster Council is launching its biggest ever engagement exercise, and we need your voice.

Letters are being sent to more than 200,000 residents in the West End and across Westminster this week, asking what public services matter most to you. Central government funding cuts mean the council can no longer guarantee everything it once did, from care for older people and children, to bin collections, parks and libraries.

Core funding has been halved, from £219 million to £119 million, with a total budget gap of £160 million forecast by 2029. Cllr Paul Fisher, Cabinet Member for Value for Money and Finance, says we'll keep fighting for a fair deal, including recognition of the £2.5billion Westminster contributes in business rates and the 800,000 people who enter our city every day.

The budget consultation is now open, and we want to hear from everyone in the West End and across Westminster.

Westminster faces an unprecedented £100million drop in central government funding over the next three years, with a £160million shortfall forecast by 2029. Without action, council tax could need to rise by 200% to fill that gap.

We're asking residents and businesses which services matter most to you, and whether you'd support a higher council tax bill to protect them. Your response will help shape the decisions we make for years to come.
