Concern expressed by local shopkeeper about dog mess .Please will all dog owners pick up your dog poo and put in any ccc bin or take home -Its only a tiny monority .

What a busy day , 2 meetings with constituents to try and sort out some issues. Attended the Llandeilo Dementia Awareness event . Started the 3 Parks Challenge at Cae William - over170 runners. Then off to support Mayor Charlotte Walker last fund raiser “ Llandeilo has got Talent “ - a lot of work put in by Charlotte and her team . Llandeilo certainly has a lot of young talent - well done everyone involved

A little history about the Llandeilo's Civic Hall fayre today!

Personally my stall has been coming for a few months now, but I had no idea how long the fair had been running. I asked Joan, who started the fair last year it turns out in June 2021.

Although a few of the ladies/gentleman you see there every week have been doing fairs together for years, Llandeilo was a great chance to get together once a week and put on a market in a lovely town.

The ladies/gentleman started doing car boots originally seven years ago, then decided to go for it at their own market in Llandeilo, Joan said she would love to be able to do something for the town, as well as provide the stall holders and the public a place to socialise!

Carmarthenshire County Council Cabinet decided yesterday to allow the Civic Buildings in Crescent Road to be put on the open market .its a large building which could easily adapted for residential home - like an Abbeyfield , hotel or a mix of business/ retail . Full Sales particulars will be shortly published . The last staff working moved out Easter .its part of a review of office accommodation following more staff working from home.
