PLEASE HELP OUR GROUP - WE URGENTLY REQUIRE A MEMBER TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND SUPPORT WITH ORGANISING OUR MONTHLY TALKS. WE NEED THIS IN PLACE ASAP. WITHOUT THIS, THERE IS A RISK WE COULD FOLD.

Wasn’t the group walk we had planned on Saturday due to a lack of interest but I decided to go pay RSPB Middleton Lakes a visit all the same.

Great morning spent amongst some of our common feathered friends. There was a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker apparently to be seen but I was not so lucky.

What a fantastic talk last night from Professor John Reilly. Presenting to us the beautiful islands of Papua New Guinea and the exotic bird species you see there.

We have one more talk left scheduled for April 17th before we break up for the summer. Watch this space for details coming soon.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the meet / walk in March planned for RSPB Middleton Lakes due to a lack of interest. We will look to plan a walk for April with details being shared shortly.
