📣 Parish Council Secures New Office on Main Street

We’re delighted to share some exciting news — the Parish Council has secured a lease on the former hardware shop on Main Street, which will soon become our new Parish Council Office.

This move is an important step in strengthening our presence at the heart of the village. The new location offers improved accessibility, a more central position, and space that better supports the Council’s growing responsibilities as the village continues to develop.

Once open, the office will be staffed five days a week, making it easier than ever for residents to drop in, raise local issues, and access information.

We’re also looking forward to using the new space to build stronger partnerships with local agencies and organisations. Our aim is to create a welcoming hub for collaboration that benefits the whole community.

Residents are warmly encouraged to attend Parish Council meetings to stay informed about local developments and hear updates on the progress of the new office.

More details — including the official opening date — will be shared in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

UPDATE!
Disappointing news for residents and the store owners.
Unfortunately, due to insurance disputes, there is no timeline as to when they will be open. They assured me that once they get the green light, works should only take around 10 days.
