Leicester Unite Against Fascism (UAF) Leicester Unite Against Fascism is a voluntary organisation committed to campaigning against racism and fascism in and around Leicester.

UAF campaigns against the N***s, both at the ballot box and on the streets. We help organise demonstrations, rallies and conferences against the BNP and other racist organisations such as the English Defence League. Our aim is to get as many people involved as possible in a hard-hitting campaign against the fascists. It was this approach that beat the National Front in the 1970s and the Blackshirt

s in the 1930s. We stand in that tradition of mass action against fascism. Leicester UAF have organised transport to most of the anti-EDL protests around the country over the last year and a half. We have also been involved in campaigning against the BNP locally during elections and more recently by protesting outside their conference in Wigston. Any EDL members posting on this page will be banned immediately - we will not be used as a platform to propagate their racist lies. "First they came for the Jews,

The far-right fascists didn't show up at all on Saturday at 1pm for their planned "festival" outside Highcross House in Leicester - instead they scuttle off to join the rest of the racist dregs in Nuneaton. We did turn up however, once again getting massive support from passing motorists. Fascists were bussed into Nuneaton from far and wide but there was a very brave counter-demonstration held by local people to tell them their views were not welcome. Tommy Robinson has called a demonstration in Central London on 13th September and anyone who hates racism needs to join the counter-protest on that day. DM us for transport from Leicester.

Brilliant victory last night in Leicester. At the height there was 60 anti racists. It was a true reflection of our diverse city. We chanted 'tell me what community looks like, this is what community looks like'. There were around 15 far right, who were very upset by the support we were getting from passing motorists, and that we drowned them out with our chants. Particularly proud of all the loud and proud women there, contradicting the Fascists 'protecting the women rhetoric'. Lots of far right filming/insulting us, their intimidation did not work. THE FAR-RIGHT GOONS INTEND TO RETURN TODAY. SO JOIN US AGAIN - 1PM OUTSIDE HIGHCROSS HOUSE, VAUGHAN WAY, LEICESTER!

The local Stand Up To Racism branch has organised a counter-protest to show these far-right dregs that their racist views are not welcome in Leicester... JOIN THE ANTI_RACIST PROTEST. They also plan another protest there tomorrow at 1pm.
