I support the call from parents for urgent reform of the DBS process.

We cannot allow delays or gaps in information sharing to put children and vulnerable people at risk.

Employers need timely, reliable information — and clearer guidance on what DBS checks can and cannot tell them.

This petition reflects the need for real change, and I would urge partners and government to act quickly to strengthen this area of safeguarding.
