Do you—or someone you know—have equipment such as daily living aids, beds, or other items supplied by Bury Council that are no longer required?
✅ Whether it’s working or broken, we can collect it!
We repair, refurbish, or strip parts to support other equipment—nothing goes to waste.
📦 How to return equipment:
Visit our online portal and complete the “Request a Collection” form https://www.bury.gov.uk/.../staying.../equipment-services
Or contact us by phone or email using the details below
You can also drop items off at the address listed on the poster
All equipment is loaned out free of charge, but must be returned when no longer needed. Once returned, we:
âś…Assess its condition
âś…Dismantle and decontaminate it in our dedicated facility
âś…Reissue it to those in need

We’re now collecting children’s equipment from their homes and delivering it back to schools—making sure everything is ready for a smooth start.

Our Equipment Services system is fully restored with some new improvements! Our Drivers are back on the roads, delivering, collecting and repairing equipment.

Our systems are currently taking a little downtime while we roll out some exciting upgrades to our Equipment Services system. 🎉
Meanwhile, our amazing team is using this opportunity to reorganise and refresh our stores—making everything smoother and more efficient for the future!

We’ll be back up and running ASAP, but don’t worry—we’re still here if you need us.
