What a beautiful time of year right now, nature is at her best. Our riverside path is such a beautiful area, and the walk down from the Offa's D**e Centre via the Rec and Pinners Hole can't be considered complete without using or at least appreciating, our lovely old steps.

They are of course rather overgrown and dilapidated as nature has taken over, but still 'navigable with care', The uneven and potentially slippery steps allow you to literally "take a walk on the wild side"
If you're at all unsteady on your feet or rely in any kind of wheels, then the ramp next door is the way to go obviously, meeting all modern requirements for risk avoidance and 'elf & safty'.

We'd love to give the steps a gentle clean, cut back the undergrowth a little and repair the handrail, not to detract too much from their natural charm, but just enough to bring them into practical use for the adventurous, the non-conformists and the nostalgic among us.

We love the old steps! Sadly now getting overgrown, they formed the route from the Offas D**e Centre down to the river Teme via Pinners Hole.
