🌸 Donated flowers

Flowers can hold so much meaning. They are chosen with love to honour someone special, and it can be lovely to know that their beauty doesn’t have to end when the funeral is over. 💐

We are incredibly grateful to the families who choose to donate their funeral flowers to Mortlake Crematorium so that they can be enjoyed by others in our local community.

Recently, some of these beautiful flowers were taken to Lyle House Care Home, where the residents enjoyed creating their own floral arrangements. 🌷

The residents created their own arrangements and are on residents’ bedside tables, bringing colour, beauty and plenty of smiles.

There is something very special about knowing that flowers given in memory of a loved one are continuing to bring happiness to other people. ❤️

To all the families who donate their flowers, thank you. Your generosity creates a wonderful legacy of kindness and means that something given with love can go on to bring joy to others.🌺

🎶 Come and sing with the Melody Misfits Choir tonight! 🎶

Everyone is very welcome to join us at 6pm in our Chapel. The songs tonight have been chosen by our choir member Charlie. 🎵

It’s completely free, and we really are a welcoming bunch. All talents are welcome — especially those who have none! 😂 You definitely won’t be alone!

We turn the music up loud, sing along and have a good time. It really is good for the soul. ❤️

💙 Grief Café at Mortlake Crematorium 💙

Grief can feel lonely, but you don't have to face it alone.

Join us on the first Saturday of every month, from 2.00pm–3.30pm, in our beautiful waiting room for our Grief Café.

Tea, coffee and cakes are provided, and you'll find a warm, welcoming space where bereaved people can come together. There is no expectation to share your personal story, you are welcome to simply sit with others who understand.

There are often tears, but there is laughter too. It's about people supporting one another through kindness, understanding and companionship.

Everyone is welcome.

🎶 Melody Misfits Choir – Tomorrow at 6pm! 🎶

Looking for a fun, uplifting way to spend your Tuesday evening? Come and join the Melody Misfits Choir tomorrow from 6.00pm–7.00pm in the Chapel at Mortlake Crematorium.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your singing ability. Whether you sing like a star or were always told to mime at school, you'll be in great company!

This month we're taking a musical trip through the 1950s and 1960s, with classics including our favourite, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles.

🎶 On Top of the World! 🎶

Our wonderful Melody Misfits Choir were delighted to perform "On Top of the World" by the Carpenters, beautifully accompanied by the Ealing Wind Orchestra. It was such a joy to see everyone looking so cheerful and singing with such enthusiasm – proving once again that music has the power to bring people together.

The Melody Misfits Choir meets on the last Tuesday of every month from 6.00pm–7.00pm in our Chapel. We sing along to uplifting songs in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, whatever your ability – especially if you were ever told to mime at school! Come along and discover the joy of singing together.

A huge thank you once again to every member of the Ealing Wind Orchestra for giving their time so generously to support our fundraising event for Meadow House Hospice . Your wonderful music helped make the evening so special and memorable. ❤️

✨ What an amazing Summer Proms evening! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Proms in support of Meadow House Hospice, Ealing. It was a truly wonderful community event, filled with music, laughter, friendship, and love.

The Ealing Wind Orchestra, conducted by David Gordon-Shute, gave a fantastic performance, while our wonderful Melody Misfits Choir sang their hearts out and encouraged everyone to join in.

A big thank you to The Tapestry for serving their delicious paella, which was enjoyed by so many, to our ice cream van for keeping everyone cool with much-needed treats, and to Glittericous for the incredibly creative face painting that brought smiles to children and adults alike.

Congratulations to all our raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who donated prizes and those who bid so generously in our auctions. Your kindness and support will make a real difference to the patients and families cared for by Meadow House Hospice.

We're busy totalling the funds raised and will share the final amount with you as soon as we can.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a special celebration of community, generosity, and joy.
