Investing in East Ayrshire Schools

Investing in East Ayrshire Schools Information and updates on our new schools improvement programme. On 27 March 2013, Cabinet approved a £300m investment in the communities of East Ayrshire.

The 10 year Capital Investment Programme provides a framework for capital investment whereby projects are aligned to the Council’s asset management aspirations and designed to support the overall objectives of the Community Plan and Transformation Strategy. A significant sum, from this major investment, has been allocated to improving the schools’ estate to ensure that our children and young people experience a learning environment that is modern, inspiring and fit for purpose.

Here are some of the amazing team from East Ayrshire behind making this happen. These are the people we have worked most closely with (in front of our new lift!) and they genuinely could not have been more helpful. From the left Ken, Tracy, Donna, Aileen, Anne (hiding), Alana and her baby bump and Helen. Couldn’t meet a nicer bunch of people. Some of East Ayrshire’s finest right there 🥰 A massive thank you to you all. This would not have happened without you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
