“Place your lit candles with extra care, away from curtains, pets and children and always remember to put them out when you leave the room, even for a moment.”

🚨Candle Safety Week🚨

This week is Candle Fire Safety Week🔥 and we will be posting advice throughout the week to keep you and your family safe over the festive period.
To get you started, we recommend regularly testing your smoke alarm to ensure they are in good working order.
WC Archard of Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
“You’re around 12 times more likely to die in a fire if you don’t have any working smoke alarms. Making sure you have enough in your home and that they are working, is vital to ensure you allow them to do their job if you need them.”
