Step through the Tudor doorway and you’ll find Rebecca, our resident artist whose beautiful hand-stitched textile pieces and mixed-media paintings are created from antique papers, vintage textiles and found objects - each one whispering the quiet stories they hold.

Rebecca works sustainably and intentionally. Her practice is slow, thoughtful and rooted in nature, guided by research, writing and careful preliminary drawings. Every piece grows from a place of calm, healing hand-making and deep connection to the natural world.

Her work has been exhibited across the UK and Europe - including National Trust and English Heritage venues - and we’re incredibly proud that she now calls Rectory Mansion home. You’ll find her just up the steps behind the water fountain, where she regularly hosts workshops and creative classes in her inspiring studio space.

This weekend is extra special - from Friday through Sunday, Rebecca is hosting an Open Studio, so do pop in, say hello and discover her beautiful work for yourself.
