Combat2Coffee Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the armed forces community and their families.

Founded by former prison officer and army veteran Nigel Seaman, Combat2Coffee is a community interest start-up founded in 2018 which aims to:

- Create safe community and charity-led spaces within its coffee shops where veterans, families and those struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues can go to feel supported and connected.

- Educate communities and families on de-escalation strategies and techniques when engaging with individuals with disabilities and trauma-related mental health conditions.

- Reform ex-offender reintegration and improve positive outcomes via its Coffee Roasting and Barista Prisoner Rehabilitation Training Programme.

- Improve sustainability and quality of coffee across the U.K. via its direct trade branded Brazilian coffee and economies of scale achieved by wholesale trade. Through the use of branded coffee, a strategic high street presence, pop-up caravan coffee shops, B2B engagement and its Coffee Roasting and Barista Prisoner Rehabilitation Training Programme - Combat2Coffee aims to deliver and support charitable causes, veterans and those suffering from mental health issues locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

This year’s fixture will see Ipswich Town take on Aston Villa on Saturday 28th November, and we’re looking forward to welcoming veterans, serving personnel, reservists and families for another special matchday.

To make the ticket allocation as fair as possible, tickets will be allocated through a ballot. 🎟️

🗓️ The form closes on Wednesday 18th November, and everyone will be notified of the outcome on Friday 20th November.
Not successful in the ballot? You’re still very welcome to join us for the plans beforehand! We’ll be sharing the full itinerary soon, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

We look forward to bringing people together, honouring those who have served, and recognising the heroes in our stands. ❤️

⚽Medals2Matches is back!💙

On Saturday, Nigel, our patron Terry Butcher, and members of the Combat2Coffee team, including staff and volunteers, headed to Rangers vs St Johnstone for our first Medals2Matches game of the season, where they had the opportunity to connect with fellow veterans.

Medals2Matches is about so much more than football. It’s about recognising the people behind the medals, making connections and creating a space where conversations can happen naturally. Sometimes, it’s the simplest things, sharing a match, having a chat or sitting alongside someone who understands, that can make a real difference.

Behind every person is a story, and we want to help make sure those stories are heard. Whether someone is navigating life after service or simply going through a difficult time, no one should feel they have to face things alone.❤️

Saturday was just the start, and we have lots of exciting things planned for our Medals2Matches initiative. Keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming next! 👀

❤️ World Mental Health Day was this past Saturday, but mental health doesn’t follow a calendar.

World Mental Health Day is an important opportunity to recognise the struggles so many people face and to remind us that it’s okay to talk.

But here at Combat2Coffee, we believe those conversations shouldn’t be limited to one day.

People can struggle any day, at any time. Sometimes a coffee, a chat, a check-in or simply knowing someone is there can make a real difference.

So yes, we recognise World Mental Health Day — but at C2C, mental health is something we recognise, talk about and support every day ❤️

☕ Don’t sip in silence.

🏆 What an incredible piece of news!

We’re so proud to see Butcher: Invisible Wounds shortlisted for Sports Documentary of the Year at the Broadcast Sport Awards 2026. ❤️

It was a real privilege for Combat2Coffee to be involved, and we’re so grateful to the production team, Terry and his family for trusting us to be part of such a personal and powerful story.

The documentary has truly resonated with people, shining a light on invisible wounds and reminding us all that it’s okay to talk and no one should feel alone.

Terry is also our Patron, and we’re incredibly grateful for his continued support of our mission and journey❤️

If you haven’t watched Butcher: Invisible Wounds yet, you can find it on ITVX — we can’t recommend it enough!

Huge congratulations to everyone involved, and good luck at the awards! 🏆 Sylver Entertainment Halo Service Solutions

❤️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – POPPY APPEAL

On Remembrance Sunday, Ipswich Town take on Bournemouth at Portman Road — but with many RBL volunteers out across the parks collecting for the Poppy Appeal, they’re going to be short of people at the stadium.

We’re asking our Combat2Coffee network and wider community — could you spare some time to help with collections around Portman Road?

We know Remembrance Sunday can be a difficult and emotional day, alongside the other 364 days of the year, but if you’re able to give some of your time, it would make a real difference and help the RBL continue their incredible work supporting our Armed Forces community.

If you can help, please contact Maisie at [email protected].

Every volunteer, every collection and every donation helps.
Thank you ❤️ Royal British Legion Ipswich Town Football Club

☕️ Happy International Coffee Day! ☕️

Today is all about celebrating one of the world’s favourite drinks — and for us at Combat2Coffee, coffee means so much more than what’s in the cup.

Coffee brings people together. It starts conversations, creates connections and gives us a reason to sit down, slow down and talk.
Whether it’s a quick catch-up, a deep conversation or simply sharing a quiet cuppa with someone, every conversation matters.

So today, grab a coffee, sit with someone, check in, have a chat and don’t sip in silence. ❤️
Because mental health matters.
Because conversations can make a difference.
Because you are never alone.

☕️ Happy International Coffee Day from all of us at Combat2Coffee!

☕️🏃‍♀️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING SPONSORS! 🏃‍♂️☕️

As we wrap up what has been an incredible Ipswich Half Marathon weekend, we wanted to take a moment to shine a light on the businesses and organisations who supported our team.

Your sponsorship helped make it possible for more than 100 runners to proudly take on the Ipswich Half Marathon in support of Combat2Coffee — and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

From every shirt worn on the day to every mile completed, your support helped us take what we do further and reach more people in our community 🩷

Thank you for believing in Combat2Coffee, supporting our mission and being part of Team C2C.
We are incredibly grateful for every single one of you ☕️💙

What a day! 🏃‍♂️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️
Yesterday we had a team of 100 runners take on the Ipswich Half Marathon in support of Combat2Coffee — and we truly can’t put into words what we witnessed.
Seeing so many people proudly wearing our logo, standing together and supporting what we do is something we will always be incredibly thankful for.🩷

A huge thank you to our sponsors, our supporters, everyone who donated and, most of all, every single person who took part. The part you played yesterday was so much bigger than running 13.1 miles. You helped us spread the message that mental health matters, conversations matter, and no one should have to suffer alone.

And together, we hit our £10,000 fundraising target! 🎉☕️ This incredible amount will help us continue our outreach work, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of veterans, serving personnel, families and communities.

And finally, one very special well done to our founder, Nigel. We couldn’t be prouder of you — not just for yesterday, but for everything you continue to do to speak openly, encourage others to do the same and remind people that it’s okay to talk.

That’s what this is all about.

☕️ Don’t Sip in Silence.
💙 You are never alone.
