Lincolnshire County Council intend to carry out carriageway patching works at B1398 Middle Street Ingham to Glentworth on the 11th of November 2025.

To comply with Health and Safety Regulations , it will be necessary to close the road and to restrict vehicular traffic for the duration of the works, which should take approx. 2 days

It will be advised to use the signed diversion route as attached, so please allow any additional time for any essential journeys.

Residents will be contacted shortly via a letter drop with this information, to allow them to navigate safely around the works.

Ingham Parish Council are aware that there have been a few incidents in the grounds of the Doctors surgery involving children/ young adults which has resulted, on a couple of occasions, with damage to the surgery which were reported to the police. Can parents please remind their children that this is not an area to spend recreational time and potentially disrupting access to this vital facility.

Following an inspection of the play surface this morning the repairs will no longer be completed this weekend. The PLAY PARK WILL THEREFORE BE OPEN FROM 3pm THIS AFTERNOON

The play park will be closed whilst surface repairs are undertaken on 4th, 5th and 6th April. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Update: The B1398 Middle Street between Glentworth and the Harpswell roundabout has now reopened.

Over the weekend somebody has accessed the rear car park at the Doctors surgery on Lincoln Road.

Benches provided for staff use during their breaks were overturned and evidence of some fires being started in the same area.

Please help us to protect an essential and valuable resource within the village.

If you see anybody accessing the surgery property outside of the normal hours or acting suspiciously, please ring 101 and report it to the Police.
