Its been a busy three weeks, back to back installs of two large wireless systems then this week we replaced a 100+ device system in a large 5 storey building. We had to replace the fire panel, all detection, connect and test all 3rd party connections, including AOV, extraction systems and sprinkler systems, all within 24 hours to minimise the risk to the residents. Also to reduce ongoing maintenance costs we installed a Scorpion point head unit to enable easy annual testing of the lift shaft detector without the need of a lift engineer callout. This will pay for itself within a couple of years and provides up to 10 years of detector testing. Another great team effort on this one and hopefully some happy customers! 😃

Another student property completed at short notice. This one was a little more challenging as the fire alarm was overloaded with too many devices. We split the loop in half to rectify the loading issues, replaced all detection and a new fire panel at the customers request. All this completed in three days ready for the new residents.

It's after one of the club’s extinguishers was used to stop an out of control BBQ fire from spreading in the dunes at Fistral Beach on Monday night.
