💔 It's with a heavy heart I'm posting here to announce we will sadly not be opening for lamb feeding stay and play sessions this year. 💔

There are two reasons, firstly as you can see the play area has not done well with the amount of rainfall we've had, the ground is sodden and constantly flooding leaving the area unsafe for your little lambs as well as ours. Secondly my insurance company have changed our policy that under two year olds are not allowed to touch the livestock, adding this was an eye watering quote.🥺

I'm incredibly sorry to disappoint all of you that have been keen to visit. We will try again next year.

We still have available spaces on our remaining dates in April if you'd like to join us for a play as well as a chance to feed our orphan lambs!!

⚠️⚠️ Road closure in Ilmington ⚠️⚠️

If you are coming from Shipston, Moreton, and Darlingscott way into Ilmington, ignore the road closed sign. You can still get to us on this road.

If coming from Stratford, Campden, Quinton, Mickleton road, turning off at The Red Lion pub - this road is closed. (Although, at the moment, you can actually still get through)

It's a simple diversion - just head back around the village turning off towards Armscotte, then turn right towards shipston/ Darlingscott, then right again back into Ilmington.

🤗🤗🤗 Exciting news!!!! 🤗🤗🤗

🐑🐑🐑 We have started lambing!! 🐑🐑🐑

A few of our ewes out in the fields have given birth! We have welcomed some cute little pet lamb's onto the farm this week!! 🥰

We will only hand rear lambs when it ensures the survival of the lamb. There are many reasons for this, some being, the ewe having low milk supply, multiple births - but mum doesn't mother all her lambs, or sadly, the ewe rejecting her young completely. We often have lambs in the farmhouse snuggled up in a box by the AGA until they are strong enough to be moved into the lambing shed. 🥰

We will keep you updated on when we will welcome some hand reared lambs into the Littlelambs stable for cuddles and bottlefeeding stay, and play sessions will open!!!
