Our wonderful Class 2 children, along with the brilliant Mrs Holden, have worked incredibly hard to create our school’s scarecrow for the Scapegoat Hill & Nettleton Hill Scarecrows' Festival.

Scarecrow Festival starts soon…

This is an extra event… Join us this Friday and Saturday from 12pm for a truly special experience! 🦅🦅🦅

Kevin and his beautiful birds of prey will be visiting, bringing along around 14 incredible birds — from Albert, one of the smallest owl species, to the gentle Harriet, one of the largest, plus falcons and eagles.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to come along, learn more about these amazing creatures, and even hold an owl of your choice!

Donations are welcome (but not required), and all of the birds are super friendly and well socialised.

We will be based on the Scapegoat Hill school field.

We can’t wait to see you there!

🎉 We’re Back! Scapegoat Hill Scarecrow Festival – Easter Weekend 🎉

The famous Scapegoat Hill Scarecrow Festival is returning this Easter weekend, and we want this year to be bigger and better than ever! 🐦🌼

We’re inviting everyone to get involved and make a scarecrow. You don’t need to live in the village to take part – we have plenty of space on the hill for entries!

🏪 Local Businesses – if you’d like to create a scarecrow, you’re very welcome to display your business name alongside it. We love supporting and promoting local businesses!

🎬 This year’s theme is MOVIES!
We already have some fantastic entries lined up, with a huge range from children’s favourites to adult classics – and we’d love to see even more creative ideas.

📅 Entry deadline: 13th February
