💚 A team that plays together, stays together!

Today, we took some time away from the usual workday to connect, have fun and enjoy the people who make up our team.

Following our September team meeting, we swapped the meeting room for the outdoors and enjoyed a picnic, games, plenty of laughter and a little friendly competition! ☀️🧺🎲

This is particularly meaningful as we continue our rebrand from Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamshire to Community Voices Matter - The home of Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamsire.

While our name and visual identity are evolving, our commitment remains the same: ensuring people’s voices are heard and communities have a say in the health and care services that affect them. 💚

We believe that creating opportunities for our team to step away from the everyday routine, build stronger relationships and connect with one another can have a real impact on collaboration, wellbeing and working towards our shared purpose.

After all, strong teams aren’t built only in meetings, they’re built through connection, trust and shared experiences.

📱 Digital health: who's in, who's out, and who's being left behind?

The NHS App is set to become the main gateway to NHS services — but is it working for everyone?

We asked over 400 people in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire what they really think. The findings reveal a complex picture: real enthusiasm for convenience and choice, alongside real barriers — from accessibility concerns to a simple preference for human interaction.

Join our online stakeholder session as we unpack the findings and ask: what might we lose if conversations about care move exclusively online?
