West London Cycling Mela – Celebrate Cycling at Osterley Park!

Join us for the West London Cycling Mela on Saturday 13 June, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, at Osterley Park - a fun, free, family‑friendly celebration of all things cycling!

The Cycling Mela is a community event bringing together residents, families, and cycling enthusiasts to enjoy an afternoon packed with activities, performances, and opportunities to learn more about cycling in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

There will be something for everyone, including:

🚲 Free bike repairs and safety checks, so bring your bikes along!
🛠️ Puncture repair demonstration
🚴 Led bike rides
🎶 Live music and performances by Bicycle Pilot and Bicycle Ballet

Summer is here! It is the perfect time to get back on your bike! Whether you are commuting, exploring local parks, or enjoying weekend rides, make sure your bike is safe and ready to roll.
Bring it along to one of our free Dr Bike sessions happening across the borough this June!

Our friendly cycle mechanics will give your bike a quick health check — from brakes and gears to tyres, chains and saddles. They will fix minor issues on the spot and let you know if anything else needs attention.

✅ No booking needed, just drop by in good time and join the queue!

🌦 Please note: If the weather takes a turn for the worse (like heavy rain), sessions may be cancelled for safety reasons. Updates will be shared here.

🚲 Free Dr Bike Sessions in May 🚲

Got a bike that needs a check up? Bring it along this May and get your bike repaired and safety checked for FREE by our experienced cycle mechanics.

✅ No booking needed. Just turn up in good time and queue
✅ Full bike checks: wheels, brakes, gears, racks, pedals, saddles & more
✅ Minor adjustments fixed on the spot
✅ Advice given for any major repairs that can’t be done on the day

Please note: Hounslow High Street (outside Trinity Church) - this session will go ahead as usual, but with one mechanic instead of two. To avoid delays or running out of time, please arrive early and be prepared to queue.

Women-Only Basic Bike Maintenance Courses
🛠️🛠️🛠️

To qualify, you must live, work or study in Hounslow.

The course is suitable for those with no previous experience of bike maintenance and designed to give you the confidence and skills to look after your bike including changing inner tubes, repairing punctures and troubleshooting basic bike issues.

These courses are free, but there is a £5 deposit which will be refunded after attendance.
