๐ National Drowning Prevention Week ๐
As National Drowning Prevention Week comes to an end, it doesn't mean that water safety does.
As we head into the summer swimming season, hereโs a simple but important safety tip when choosing swimwear for your child.
Some swimwear colours are much easier to see in the water than others. In busy pools or outdoor settings, visibility really matters.
Bright colours such as neon orange, yellow, pink, or green are far easier to spot in the water, both for parents and lifeguards.
Darker colours like grey, navy, and blue can be much harder to see once in the water.
Choosing brighter swimwear is a small change that can help improve visibility and support water safety.
Water safety awareness shouldn't stop when National Drowning Prevention Week ends. By continuing to share and follow simple safety measures throughout the summer, we can all help keep children and families safer around the water.
Thank you for helping us keep swimmers safe ๐
