📣Are you a resident of Great Missenden?

We want to hear from you about our On-Call fire cover proposals in the public consultation we are running. So.. what are the facts?
🚒There has been no crew at this station for the last 5 years.
🚒The Great Missenden fire engine hasn't attended an incidents since 2017 in the local area.
🚒It would cost around £165,000 for building repairs and improvements to the fire station but wouldn't improve the fire engine's ability to respond to incidents, due to having no crew.

🚨 Exciting News 🚨

The Blue Light Hub in West Ashland are holding their first Emergency Service Open Day! 🚒🚓🚑

This will give you and your family the opportunity to see a wide range of emergency vehicles along with demonstrations, rides, stalls, refreshments and much more. 🎡🥤

This event is free entry and all the money raised on the day will be going towards The Fire Fighters Charity and TASC The Ambulance Staff Charity .

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue service is responding to several incidents because of Storm Eunice. We are currently experiencing high call volumes and our crews are working to assist those in need. In this time of high demand, we ask that you use your judgment and please do not call emergency services to report fallen trees or debris in the road when there is no threat to life. Please instead call Highways England for major routes, or your local authority for minor routes.

Met Office warns there is a good chance that flying debris could result in a danger to life, and it is likely there will be falling branches and some uprooted trees when Storm Eunice hits.
