Our aim is to raise money for the charity MyelomaUK. Our friend has this condition and has worked tirelessly throughout his illness to raise money for the charity. We want to help him

Maybe even live music!
We can’t promise sunshine but we can promise summer fun!
Contributions of cakes, items for tombola, raffle prizes, pre-loved clothing would all be very welcome

Please come and support my MyelomaUK stall at the Allendale Mayfair. We will be selling delicious tray bakes and generously donated art.
The art will range in price from £15 to £250 and will be an opportunity to obtain a stunning piece while supporting a cancer charity.
Featured artists include Peter Flanagan, Carol Davison, Carol Nunan and Jenny Hammond from the Allen Valleys as well as the highly acclaimed Roy Abell.

Thanks to all of you who have liked my page so far.
I still have 5 places left for my Easter GCSE course. 4 hours quality work over two days in a pleasant location with a maximum group size of 10.

It is amazing how much progress you can make in the next few weeks regardless of your work up to now.
You must work smart- do not keep repeating topics or questions you can do but gradually identify what you cannot do and start sorting it out one question or one topic at a time.
Use your notes, revision guides, past work or Corbett maths videos to find a worked example similar to the question you are stuck with and then copy the "model".
If you are still confused, seek help from teacher,tutor or friend. You might even send an email with the question and a request for an explanation.

COURSE OVERVIEW
The course will cover the core material found in the specifications of the main examining boards. Teaching, by an experienced GCSE teacher and examiner, will take place at Allendale cricket club pavilion. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks will be provided.
Experience has shown that Easter Revision Courses are of great value to GCSE candidates, enabling them to attain higher grades in their June examinations.
COURSE STRUCTURE
o The course is taught in a small group.
o A completely tailored tutoring approach specific to each student’s needs.
o Identify gaps in knowledge.
o Extensively cover examination style questions and identify places where students are likely to make mistakes.
o Suggestions on how to revise, tailored specifically for the student based on progress.
o A complete review of the GCSE course.
