Work made for GVG 2019 by Phyllida Bluemel, Beth-Emily Richards, Rosanna Martin and Elizabeth Masterton will be shown as part of Unbounded, an exhibition at the Eden Project’s Core Gallery. The show is curated by our friends Field Notes with the Eden team. It runs from 2 Nov 2019-26 January 2020 and admission is included in the Eden ticket price. Goonhilly Village Green formed for one day only! The site came alive with ideas, information and artwork at The Gathering, a free fun day for all the family. With our Village Green Society Talk & Screening Programme in the Happidrome, guided walks and drop in activities that exploring different stories of the site, and new artworks commissioned for the project.

And that’s a wrap! A huge thank you to all who came from near and far to find common ground on the common land of the National Nature Reserve that is Goonhilly Village Green! What a day!

2019 sees the second and final Goonhilly Village Green take place. For one day only we will set up a temporary village green near The Drytree menhir (standing stone) that marks the convergence of five
parish boundaries.

Goonhilly Village Green draws together the diverse range of people that use the site and layers of interest that make up its history; to meet, talk, learn and play, finding common ground on the common land of National Nature Reserve.

Join us at The Gathering, This Saturday, Goonhilly Downs, 11am - 4pm

Work with Rosanna Martin to create a clay sculpture for the Lost Rock Library inspired by a rock you own, a rock you remember or a rock you’ve just seen on the Downs. Learn how to create basic shapes using clay, and explore using rocks to create texture and impressions.
