A real pleasure being able to share some festive cheer with our local primary school 🎄🎄🎄Merry Christmas everyone

Christmas community spirit alive and well up at Colden! 🌟🎄

Thank you so much to Trees & Tranquility for donating the most magical Christmas tree for Colden Junior and Infant School! As is a rite of passage, the Year 6 pupils decorated the tree with every ounce of tinsel and sparkle they could find! ✨🎄

Colden School will also be making trips up to the site (just up the road from the New Delight) for some workshops, picnics and forest school sessions in the near future- a great link the school is privileged to have formed!

Turn onto Jack Bridge just beside the New Delight pub, follow the lane for around 400 metres – our trees are on the right-hand side just before Lower Strines Barn
Cash preferred due to limited Wifi reception.
All our trees are Nordmann Fir, loved for their lush, full foliage and excellent needle retention.
We can’t wait to welcome you, help you find your tree, and share in the Christmas magic! 💚

Please note: We had planned to focus again on Christmas tree rentals, which is our vision for the future – allowing trees to be replanted and enjoyed for many years. Unfortunately, due to this year’s growing conditions and lack of rainfall, we are unable to offer rental trees this season. We hope to bring them back next year and appreciate your understanding.

🌿 Welcome to Trees & Tranquility 🌿
Hi, I’m Jackie, lover of the outdoors, yoga teacher, and founder of Trees & Tranquility, a peaceful acre of woodland just 10 minutes from the lovely Hebden Bridge.
This space grew from my passion for nature, mindfulness, and community. Over winter, I’ll be offering sustainably grown Christmas trees that can be replanted after the festive season, helping us all celebrate consciously while giving back to the earth 🌍💚
Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming yoga sessions, sound baths, and community events beneath the trees. I’m currently training as a sound bath practitioner and working towards creating a space where like-minded souls can gather, host workshops, and reconnect with nature.
Recently, I hosted our first Autumn Equinox Workshop, complete with a cacao ceremony, yoga, and a guided woodland walk 🍂✨
This winter, we’ll have wreath-making workshops and lots of beautiful Christmas trees waiting for their new homes.

🎄 Wreath Making Between the Christmas Trees! 🌲

Join us for a magical festive workshop surrounded by Christmas Trees at Trees & Tranquility, Blackshawhead (just 10 minutes from Hebden Bridge & Todmorden).

🗓 Friday 28th Nov – 6pm to 8pm
🗓 Saturday 29th Nov – 4pm to 6pm
💷 £35 per person

All materials are provided, plus enjoy a glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative), mulled wine, and mince pies while you create your own beautiful Christmas wreath. 🎁

You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments too!

There’ll also be the opportunity to buy festive items with proceeds going to the Air Ambulance. ❤️

🌡 The workshop will take place in a heated polytunnel – please wear warm, suitable clothing and footwear.
