We encourage members of the public to take extra care when choosing airport parking services.

• Do your research – use independent review sites such as Trustpilot to check for feedback on the parking provider.
• Look for accreditation – ensure the company is a member of the British Parking Association (BPA) and has ‘Safer Parking Scheme’ accreditation, which indicates the site has been vetted for security and customer service on behalf of the National Police Chiefs’ Council.
• Check where your vehicle will be stored – ask the provider for the full address of the parking site and whether it is secure, patrolled and covered by CCTV.
• Avoid leaving valuable - remove all valuables from your vehicle before handing over the keys.
• Get documentation – obtain a full written record of the handover including times, names and terms of service.
