If you’ve got time, pop in to the Community Information Event currently going on at Hatfield Peverel Village Hall. There’s plenty of clubs and societies to check out plus the National Highways team, community policing and the Parish Council projects like DofE and the community park. It’s on til 1pm.

No previous experience needed.

Free sessions run Tuesday 9th and 16th June, 10.30am - 11.30am on the Hatfield Peverel Tennis Courts.

More attendees at this Sunday’s COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENT to be held from 11am - 1pm at Hatfield Peverel Village Hall

➡️ Parish Council with news of the new Community Park, S106 funding projects, Free Park Tennis, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
➡️ Members of the Community Events Committee to talk about Party in the Park and Christmas in the Park'
➡️ Chat with the Community Policing team;
➡️ The Village Hall team - find out about all the events planned and what clubs you can join;
➡️ EMC - the Every Members Club - what is it, when is it?
➡️ Meet representatives from Braintree District Council;
➡️ And National Highways – the A12 Representative Team will be on hand for questions.

And if that doesn’t grab you….. come along and have a go at table tennis and meet the local Table Tennis Club! (Sorry, Timothée Chalamet won’t be there!) 🏓

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 7 June at the Village Hall. Just pop in - take a look around the main hall where we’ll be showcasing what goes on here, plus what’s on in and around our village.

If you’re new to the village or you’re a long time resident it’s a great way to keep up to date with council and local groups.

You might just discover something you didn’t know about the village or a club you’d like to join! And remember to bring your cash for the Peverel Wine Club raffle! 🍾🎟

All residents should have now received their personalised letters from Braintree District Council with details of their new collections, a leaflet with all the information about the new service as well as their own collection calendar.
