Weve just saved a school £20,000!!!

Big result for a local school this week.

We’ve just delivered a full EV charging infrastructure install — saving the school over £20,000 in the process.
Scope included:
- New distribution
- Full infrastructure install
- Groundworks completed to a top and absolute professional standard by Paul Walsh Groundworks
- Testing, commissioning, and full handover.

Everything delivered efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to the school.
All of our team are DBS cleared and operate to the highest standards, meaning projects like this can be carried out during term time when needed without compromising safety or quality.

This job had everything:
Day one was the sunburn
Final day we was snowed off before we could finish the barriers.

My annual 3 weeks off in the sun is never enough!

The first Monday back in work for me so here's a look at one of several areas we're working on. This is a section of a 7 month electrical installation. Handover in the next couple of weeks 🙌🏽

'The industrial look' as you call it. We call it containment 😄

Galv tray, trunking & containment installed for robust cable management

Power and lighting wired, labelled, and prepared for commissioning

Local isolators positioned for safe maintenance access

Install completed to BS 7671 and project specifications

Emphasis on tidy routing, secure fixings, and future accessibility

High level LED lighting with energy efficient PIR switching

coordinated install to suit site programme with other trades.

Proud of the finish on this one, quality installs make all the difference on commercial projects. Especially when it's always all on show.

We're looking to fill 2026 with more electrical projects like this one.

Repticomm Electrical's team of four had a fantastic day out at Accrington and District Golf Club, taking part in the charity golf day to raise funds for the Accrington Stanley Community Trust.

The weather might not have been on side, but nothing a few beers and a knock can't sort out! 🍻

Most importantly, it was all in aid of a brilliant cause. The Community Sports Hub is doing incredible work locally, and we’re proud to play our part in supporting that as always.

A big thank you to everyone who organised, people such as Purves Ali (Mibc Mcim), to those who supported, and those who took part in the day. 🙌

The last couple of weeks we’ve been pushing forward on a full rewire at a live, operational fire station and we’re now almost finished with the containment.

It's a critical environment which means planning, precision, and teamwork have to be spot on. We have been keeping disruption to an absolute minimum while still keeping the project on track and at this stage we are ahead 😬...

Very happy with the progress so far 👏

Yesterday was CEF LIVE at NEC Birmingham and what a top quality event it was!! I spent some time at getting familiar with new products and the exciting new app that will be dropping soon. WAGO - UK & Ireland were doing give aways Milwaukee Tool stand for us was the one. New toys win. Competitions everywhere and finished off with a little bar crawl around the stands. Collingwood lighting had a driving simulator and there were golf simulators dotted about. 🙌🏼 Definitely be going back in 2 years.
