Carrying the sword of his great-grandfather and the colour of his battalion, reservist Lieutenant Angus Lapslie was on parade for the recent Coronation of the King & Queen.
Standing outside Buckingham Palace on the Victoria Memorial and alongside his fellow colour bearers, he gave a royal salute to the newly crowned Sovereign as the State Coach passed.

One of the British Army’s most far-flung exercises has been taking place in Australia.
Exercise Pacific Kukri saw soldiers from the Royal Gurkha Rifles deploying alongside counterparts from the Royal Australian Regiment and US Marines.
For five arduous weeks they trained in urban and semi-arid warfare environments near Darwin.

Gurkhas have joined forces with the Australian Army and US Marines for demanding training in the Australian outback.

For some, the recent ceremonial events were an opportunity to take part in the first Coronation in 70 years. For others, it meant taking to the stage with world class musical talent.

1st Battalion The Rifles have paraded through Chepstow days before embarking on a two-year deployment to Cyprus.

A 120-strong infantry company of Indian soldiers from the 6th Battalion Bihar Regiment have been training with the Royal Gurkha Rifles.

Spring storm has arrived!
🇪🇪 at the largest annual exercise, nearly 14,000 🇪🇪🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇰🇮🇹🇵🇱🇬🇪🇩🇪 and 🇺🇸 land, marine and air forces demonstrate their ability to cooperate in different domains.
During the exercise, the integration of NATO allied units is practiced in Estonia's defense plans and this is in line with the deterrence and defense activities organized on the eastern wing of NATO.
The study, which is divided into three phases over two weeks, will include off-road operations, land and air combat launches, and sea descent and repellent. These activities will be conducted to test and strengthen military cooperation and response capacity.


Ex SPRING STORM IS HERE!
During 🇪🇪 largest annual exercise, 14,000 land, sea and air personnel from 🇪🇪🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇰🇮🇹🇵🇱🇩🇪🇬🇪 and 🇺🇸 will demonstrate interoperability in multi-domain training scenarios.
In line with NATO’s deterrence and defence of the Eastern flank, the exercise will be executed to ensure that NATO allied units are fully integrated into and are aligned with the Estonian National Defence Plan.
Split into three phases over two weeks, the exercise will see Field Training Exercises, land and air Live Firing exercises as well as a maritime beach assault. These activities are conducted to test and strengthen military interoperability and responsiveness.
