☀️What's on this Summer...
Spotlight on FREE Youth First Aid Training.⛑️
At Hartley Wintney Parish Council, we wanted to give the young people in our community the opportunity to learn first aid skills. As such we have teamed up with Steve Bartlett at Duty Crew , to offer FREE First Aid Training sessions for local youths, ages 14 - 18 this Summer.
We have tailored the programme to provide basic, essential first aid training which will give them the confidence, knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations.

☀️Hartley Wintney Youth Summer Programme☀️
We have a fantastic line up for the younger members of our community, this summer, including:
- FREE TENNIS LESSONS - with local coach Justin Tadman from Hartley Wintney Tennis Club.
- FREE CINEMA SCREENINGS - shown in Victoria Hall, we have two screenings scheduled for the summer. Film titles TBC.
- FREE FIRST AID COURSES FOR TEENS - we have teamed up with Steve Bartlett at Duty Crew to offer basic first aid training for teens aged 14 – 18 years.
- ARTS & CRAFTS WORKSHOPS with ARTFUL KIDS - creative workshops for children aged 5-11 years.

🏆HW Community Awards 2026🏆
The deadline for nominations is Friday 26th June 2026
Are there any individuals, groups or businesses you feel should be recognised for their contributions to the local community?
You can make your nominations via our website https://www.hartleywintney-pc.gov.uk/hw-parish-council/awards/

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for our Community Awards 2026.
Members of the public may nominate any Hartley Wintney resident, community group and/or business who have demonstrated dedication and invaluable service to the Village and community. All winners (and their families) will be invited to an exclusive event, which will take place in September, where we will present them with their awards.
The Community Awards are given in recognition of service to the Village, and we also present the Royal British Legion Cup and the Vaughan Memorial Award. There is also a Lifetime Achievement Award for an individual that has dedicated many years to volunteering for numerous good causes and a Business Award for a Hartley Wintney based business that has gone above and beyond, offering invaluable service to the community.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 26th June 2026.

Just a reminder, our Annual Parish Meeting is on Monday, 6:30 at the Lucy Pygott Centre. All Hartley Wintney residents are invited to come along and share your views.
We look forward to seeing you there 😊

Our Annual Parish (Village) Meeting is on Monday 1st June at 6.30pm at the Lucy Pygott Centre, Vaughan Close, Hartley Wintney RG27 8EB.

This is a meeting held for our residents and by our residents, providing an opportunity to find out more about your Village.

The evening will commence with a welcome drink and introduction from our Chairman Stuart Elborn. Light refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to speak with your Parish Councillors, should you wish to do so. We expect the event to finish by 7.20pm and our usual Full Council meeting will commence at 7.30pm. There is limited parking at the venue so please let us know if you are planning to attend and have any accessibility needs.

We invite all HW residents to come along and share your views.
