WASHING HIRES
PLEASE READ

You don’t have to! Carriers do not need to be washed before they are returned ☺️

But we understand sometimes they need to during a hire. So if you need to wash a carrier just message us for wash instructions!

The big trigger for this post is the amount of returns we’ve had with heavily scented washing powders. We use very mild scented non bio washing detergents as a lot of babies and toddlers have delicate skin and a lot of people (especially post partum and neurodivergent people like myself) are adverse to strong smelling washing powders and scent boosters.

When they come back heavily perfumed it’s quite hard to remove those perfumed smells too.

If they’re washed incorrectly you’re risking fading the carriers, pulling the fabric, tiny holes, shrinking the padding or breaking the buckles. If I make those mistakes it’s my fault but if it’s you it could mean paying for a replacement. And it does happen.

So if you have a carrier and it’s a bit muddy. It’s totally fine!

If it’s an area you can spot clean with water that’s the best course of action

If your baby has been sick, w**d or pooped on the carrier it happens! Message me to ask how to wash and I’ll let you know but please use something gentle and baby friendly x

New things!

We have 4 new carriers for the library!

First up is the DidyHip! A quick hip carry pouch option that you just pop over your head.

Second the DidyFix. A lightweight full buckle carrier (I can’t wait to test to see the realistic age ranges for this one)

Then the DidyKlick 4u (baby size) to replace our very much loved one. It’s a lightweight half buckle!

I can’t wait to have a quick play for myself but they are all on our hire system ready for hire! We would love to have feedback for them all if you choose to give them a spin!

So as many people know it is pure chaos here. I’m trying my best to keep on top of messages but there will be delays.

☀️ TO HIRE - RESERVE A CARRIER AND WE WILL GET IT POSTED SAME DAY OR NEXT WORKING DAY TO AVOID DELAYS ON MY SIDE ☀️

Retail is working as normal!

We won’t be able to run any in person consultations until after the summer holidays. This is due to us taking apart our home!! We have been planning this for many many years. Every wall in this picture and every doorway (minus one) has been moved or changed and my husband and myself are doing the work. So it’s just not suitable for working in at the moment.

This is also why there will and have been delays on messages. As I have two children of my own and the other responsibilities of life I have my hands very much full.

I want to also say a huge thank you to all the people who have hired and bought things off the shelf. You have truly made a HUGE difference to this project with working space!
