Save Greenwich Adventure Play Centres Campaign.

The campaign would like to invite you to participate in a photo call at 6.30pm this coming Wednesday (23 September 2026).

They published this statement on Friday:

"Save Greenwich Adventure Play Centres were saddened to learn on Thursday that the Royal Borough of Greenwich is closing 4 of its 5 Adventure Play Centres by March 2028, with only Plumstead staying open as a staffed service.

Staff at the 5 APCs were also told by council officers that The Course at Coldharbour would simply be closed and left unused if another site is chosen for the Coldharbour Community Hub.

All 22 members of staff have been told they will need to reapply for their jobs.

Specific dates for the 4 closures are unknown at present.

Staff from the Adventure Play Centres will be attending the protest along with members of the campaign, and your support would be really appreciated, please let me know if you are able to attend.

Thank you."
