David Herridge would like to thank all who voted Lib Dem in the recent council elections. The Lib Dem vote increased across Gosport but sadly the collapse of the Conservative & Labour votes to Reform allowed Reform to win. Gosport now has a Conservative:Reform Council with the six remaining Lib Dems holding the balance of power. We're pleased to say that Rowner & Holbrook still have a Lib Dem Councillor, Murray Johnston, who will continue working for local residents all-year-round.

Gosport Council's free-to-use community skips are at the Holbrook Leisure Centre car park this Saturday, 25th April. Any residents can dispose of waste items free-of-charge. No need to book. We’re pleased to share that Gosport's Lib. Dem. Council has approved plans for a new community‑led Rowner Neighbourhood Board, which will help shape a 10‑year regeneration vision for the area. Backed by up to £20 million of Government investment, the programme puts residents, community groups and local partners at the heart of decision‑making, with the council providing legal and financial support along the way.
Recruitment is now open for an Independent Chair and we’re looking for someone who can help build a Board that truly reflects the diversity, strengths and ambitions of the Rowner community.
